Yak Burger and such

yaksha42Let's see, when was the last time I updated? Tuesday? Well, I guess it hasn't been that long, sorta seems like it though.
Wednesday I met up with my friend Roni Dupont. We've known each other since before kindergarten. Though into the middle-school/high school era, she got into the drug crowd like most people in this town. Hard to say how she's doing now. She has cleaned up a bit. She's diagnosed as bipolar, so she's quit doing drugs. Though the people she lives with still smoke marijuana all day. I was in there for about 3 minutes and I think I got wasted by just breathing.
I met her down at the mall. We walked around a bit with her boyfriend, then came back to my place, just talking most of the time. I'm so glad that I kept myself isolated from this town and got out of here as soon as I could.
She left after a while to go to her boyfriend's mom's place. We made plans to meet up Thursday and go to the beach or something because it was her birthday the day before. Spent the rest of the day online or watching TV.
Called Roni on Thursday, but her and her roommate decided to go out that day for a girls day out type thing for her birthday, so beach was rescheduled for Friday. Hopefully anyway. Went out with my mom and uncle for lunch. I had a YAK BURGER. Twas pretty good. I doubt I would ever be able to tell it apart from ordinary hamburger, tasted fine.
Then I went out to the lake where my dad was at. Was actually hoping me and Roni could go out there. Spent the day with my dad, Dyana, here granddaughter Malea, and my half sister Laurie. Swam a bit. Went walking through the woods. Talked. Came back into town and dad dropped me off here.
Saturday we're going down to Oregon. My brother couldn't come into town today, so we're coming down to him. Not sure if we'll be staying the night or not. Sunday I'll be meeting up with Hallah and then heading back to Phoenix.
