Day 1 and 2

yaksha42Landed in Portland and drove with mom and her boyfriend to Hoquiam. Stopped at McDonald's to meet best friend Josh. We're going to Olympia Monday to see TTT hopefully. Came home, talked with family, watched SE FotR with them, kicked computer for slow dial up.
Today we went to my dad's and his girlfriends place for Robb and Laurie's birthday party. More socializing, or rather family talked while I sat and nodded and watched TV. Dad rented a 52 inch big screen TV for Football Week.
Robb got a sweater, socks, and Prey by Michael Crichton. Laurie got a charm bracelet, some shirts and a makeup kit.
I got to open one of my birthday presents early. Go me! It was the "Making of the Lord of the Rings" book, lots of pretty pictures. Came back to Mom's place.
