Gunnar's computer is more or less FUBAR. When he restarts, he gets a blue screen. Have to shut it down and go into safe mode. Restarting after Safe Mode gets the log on screen, but as it's loading the start up programs, it freezes. Have decided to try and put XP on it. Hopefully that should fix some of the problems.

I'm gonna try just doing an upgrade, that way he can keep all of his stuff, and hope the problems go away. Though it might be a better idea just to format the whole hard drive and start from scratch.

Currently in the process of transferring his movies to my computer. That way, in case something goes horribly wrong, he can still have those at least.

umm yeah, that's what happened with my computer! Get a recovery cd. :-) that's how mine got fixed....
