I have a brief rememberance of my dreams last night. I was flying somewhere, I think it was to visit lady_spec in Chile, and I was bringing my laptop with me. I put my bag and my laptop through the X-Ray machine and walked through the metal detector. It didn't go off.

So I walked past, grabbed my bag, and headed towards the plane. After I had walked a bit, I suddenly remember I had forgotton my laptop.

I don't know if I woke up then, or if I just don't remember what happened, but it was kinda freaky. Now I'm paranoid about taking The Cheat with me to Washington.

Happens to more people than you would think, Yakky, this leaving laptops at security checks. Or they tend to get stolen there as well. After you put your stuff into the machine, someone in front of you sets the detector off and the line is held up. Then his accomplice in front makes off with someone's laptop. Well-known tactic. Just be vigilant and careful.
