I started off the morning finishing up the Ethics paper. Matt and Josh never e-mailed me the things they said they would. Matt called me around noon, after I had already finished and turned in the paper (it was due today even though we don’t have class) and told me his power supply had gone out and he wasn’t able to send me the info. To me, it’s a lame excuse. He is here in the morning for his FA job. It would have been very simple for him to send me an e-mail of what happened, or if he had the stuff on a disk to send it to me. Oh well, I should have known I would do all the work on the paper anyway ...
Went to a company called Microchip today. Actually got to dress in a full "bunny suit" and tour inside the Fab. Very cool, never done that before. We've taken tours, but they've mostly been "window tours" For once we were on the other side of the window.
I have started reading Crossroads of Twilight, the new Wheel of Time book. Looks interesting. Unfortunately, I've had to set it aside and do semiconductor homework (chapter questions and the tour last week at Medtronics).
It just sorta dawned on me. This is my LAST WEEK of Uni for the Associates program.
On Wednesday, we have our Project Fair where we'll be showing off our Automated Home. On Friday, we have Finals. Another day of Finals on Monday. Then I just need to wait until Friday for graduation. Then of course there is the skydiving the day before. I will probably be absent from being online for most of the week ... crunch time ...
Note before I forget: Azz, does your webcam turn into a normal camera that can take digital photos? I want to get some pics of me at the Project Fair to show others, but don’t want to buy a disposable, and my digital camera is a cheap piece of crap.
It just occurred to me. I get next week off school when other people are doing their finals. But I will probably still have to work. I need to talk to my boss about this. I’m hoping we just shut the labs somewhat early each day. I don’t really see a need to have them open until 11 if there are just finals going on.
