yaksha42Our presentations for Ethics were scheduled today. We are set to present on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week and the week after.
Now comes the problem.
The Wednesday in a week and a half is when everyone is scheduled to show off their Final Project for Electronics. This is a very big event, with newspapers, local TV stations, and Professionals from the industry showing up.
Prof. Ashford, the Ethics teacher, wants us to leave the Project Fair in order to give presentations and watch them as well.
To me, this isn't right. We've spent a lot of time and energy on this project, and we're expected to leave for an hour and possibly miss out on talking with reporters, other students, and people from Industry? Riiiiiight.
The schedule for the Job Fair has been set for a very long time. It was poor planning by Professor Ashford, and I don't think we should have to leave the Job Fair in order to give presentations and watch them.
This isn't someone who is complaining because they don't want to do it. Our presentation is either Thursday or Friday of next week, and we plan on presenting.
I've already e-mailed the Dean of Gen. Ed. Hopefully we'll get something worked out ...
