I had a pretty busy weekend. After work on Saturday morning, I drove out to Yuma where my dad is. This is about a 3 hour drive, and most of it is highway driving on I-8. It's a very strait, very empty road. I practiced my speeding skills, got up to 115. Got to Yuma and my dad took over driving, Maleah was with us. We went to San Diego, another 3 hour drive, and met Dyana there. Her friend Vonda had flown down, so they hung out doing women things while my dad, Maleah and I went to Laguna beach.
I napped on the beach. After that, we drove north to LA. We found a trashy hotel near Disneyland and stayed the night there. Dad killed a cockroach in the bathroom :p In the morning, we drove to a nicer hotel and pretended we were staying there so we could get the free breakfast :D Then we drove to a hotel across the street from Disneyland and parked there like we were staying there, so it was just a quick walk :D We're such rebels ;-)
Disneyland was fun. It was empty when we first came in, but slowly filled up. Maleah got lots of pics with the different characters :p I got Mickey ears :-D
The Ariel Curse: Ariel has always been my favorite female Disney character. I think I just like the seashell bra ... I've been to Disneyland three times. All three times I've tried to get a pic with her. She sits in a giant shell near the big castle. Yet every time I try to get a picture with her, she's always gone :( I swear the next time I go to Disneyland that's the FIRST thing I'm doing :p
After Disneyland we found a tad nicer hotel and stayed there that night. Drove to San Diego in the morning. We met Dyana and Vonda at the San Diego zoo and went in. Saw some cool aminals :D Around 2, we headed out. Vonda and Dyana stayed and Maleah started crying, cause she didn't want to go home. I slept from San Diego to Yuma, about three hours. Then I got up and drove back to Phoenix and to work.
I really need to wash my car :p There are dead bugs EVERYWHERE.
Ohh, and I got new glasses :D They're rimless, so you can barely see them. Someone at work looked at me and asked where my glasses were :p
