That was fun ... NOT!
Jul. 5th, 2003 08:58 amSo I was laying in bed this morning, it was about 8:30AM. munk was partially awake in chat. All of a sudden I heard this creaking, "Mat ..." said munk.
Then SLAM!
My computer desk collapsed.
It had been leaning and whobbly for a while. We tried to fix it last night with some duct tape, and it was leaning less. But then this morning, it just gave out.
Sorta like Milhouse. "I was watching! It started to fall over, then it fell over."
The part of the desk where the monitor sat and I had a bunch of junk is still intact. So right now that's sitting on the floor with my computer hooked up, and I'm laying in my bed typing.
I'm not sure when I'll buy a new desk. I could do it today, or DeVry is having some sort of furniture sale on Tuesday, guess we'll see.
