So Aina was over here most of the day. It was good to just sit and talk with her. Aina, munk, and I had a really good time hanging out. Munk made his spaghetti, which is really good. Aina fought over the computers so she could get into chat and read LJ :p

Then came something fun. We decided to let Aina watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Sure, it may not be the best movie for a 14 year old to watch, and Yammy will probably kill me, but hey, she liked it! We also ordered some pizza.

Afterwards we took Aina back to her aunt's, said good-byes in case we didn't see each other again.

Munk and I drove to the theatre. We watched 28 days later. It was pretty good, freaky though. Munk wants to watch The Lion King to get the bad mental images out of his head :p

Also got a call from Xyla this morning. Wasn't able to talk to long as the phone wasn't charged, but still had a great conversation, as per usual with Xyla.

All in all, a very fun day ... except for the whole desk collapsing thing I spose.

Stuff to do

Am currently doing my laundry. Will need to clean up the bedroom and the rest of the apartment today.

My mom will be in Phoenix Monday morning, I don't want her to think I'm a total and complete slob ;-) Plus, it'd be nice to have a semi-clean apartment for a change. Chances of keeping it clean? Probably not good. So the tentative plan for her being here is Monday - Diamondbacks Game. Tuesday - Mexico. Wednesday/Thursday - Las Vegas. Friday - she flies back home.

Not sure whether or not I'll be staying at her hotel for the nights. I did last time, but she didn't have a boyfriend then, but either way I'll try and make my way back here every so often to check out chat and LJ.

I was flipping through The Two Towers today, was bored and looking at the different artwork in it, when I happened to come across the Ent and Entwife poem. I'm not sure why, but every time I had read TTT, I always just read it quickly, or skipped over it. But this time, I actually read it, slowly. I couldn't believe that I had skipped over it. I've never really heard this poem listed as anyone's favorite from the books, but after reading it, I think it might be mine. It was wonderful, and I feel so bad for having skipped over it every other time.
