Spore!

I've been waiting years for the video game "Spore" to come out, there's just a few more months until it hits stores. Today I saw that they released a creature creator for the game. The full version will be available Wednesday at about noon, in the meantime I downloaded the free trial and played around with it a bit.

You know it really didn't take all that long to make those. I thought the game was coming out at midnight central time, so I was waiting for the full version. When I realized that it was until noon I downloaded the trial. Took me about an hour to create and upload all that stuff :P

Lol! That thing can dance :D The one with one leg looks like something that would live in lower gravity environment. I like the green one, it's kinda cute.

Can you make bugs in there? Like creatures with outer skeleton, instead of having bones on the inside.

Hmm, I don't think so. At least, not that I've been able to figure out. People get pretty creative with what they make. There's a bunch of cool ones here (http://www.spore.com/sporepedia#qry=ftr-ftrd).

I watched all those interviews and stuff with the guys making this, but I can't remember ... Do your creatures have to make sense in the environments you put them in? I mean, will the game kill off creatures that aren't well adapted?
