Yesterday, I was at a doctor's house, fixing up his computer as he will be going on call soon. I had a hard time finding the place, I wasn't sure if I had the right house or not so I drove into the driveway to get a better look at the numbers on the house. It was it. So I parked and went inside. After a while of working, the doctor came into his office and told me his wife had backed into my car while coming out of the garage.

It wasn't like I was right up against the garage door or anything, I was a good 15 to 20 feet back. The damage wasn't too bad, the bumper had a small chunk taken out of it. He told me a place to go to get an estimate, that way he wouldn't have to go through his insurance company. I told him the place gave me an estimate at $1500. He called the insurance company.

Now I'm just waiting to hear back from them to see where to take my car to get it fixed. I wonder if there's any way I can claim a neck injury or pain and suffering from this.

Ahh well, the bumper had a few scratches on it already from when I gave a pole a slight love tap :-D

Yes, but for financial reasons, blame has been shifted to the wife :-p

Ok so he made a mistake...

Take them for all you can.. I would claim mental duress after all your car which you rely on may not be reliable anymore. This is a very big problem for you(know what I mean)!!!! Your car is how you get to your job and to clients locations. It is just too much for you to bare... I think they shoud give you a new Mercedes of some kind as compensation... THat only seems fair... :D
