It was fun. Didn't actually work all that much, it was fairly easy. This wasn't a full install though, just moving some stuff around mostly.
My plane to San Jose was an hour late, which kinda sucked though one of my coworkers was on the same flight.
On the flight back, my coworker was able to get an earlier flight (I stuck around to help another guy do some other stuff). So anyway, my flight was at 6:15P. I get to the airport at 4:15. At about 5:30 we're informed the plane was having mechanical problems and hadn't left Vegas yet. Yet another delayed flight. While we were waiting, another flight came to our gate, they got in at about 7:45P and were supposed to leave at 8:25P. Well, our plane landed so they had to rush the other plane out of there. It left 10 minutes early with three people not on board. Sucks to be them I guess.
We took off around 9P, so the flight was almost 3 hours late. I've never had a late flight before. I've always had extremely good luck with this. I usually fly at least twice a year to go home, if not to some other places. It's always been on time. On the plus side, I get paid for travel time, so that's an extra 3 hours of pay sitting around and doing nothing ...
No word yet on where the next place will be. My brother's wedding is August 15th but I really doubt they'll let me off of work for it. I think there's something going on in late July in Oregon (where he lives) so I'll try and get on with them and hopefully see my brother before his wedding. We'll see I guess.
I went to go see Batman Begins a little bit ago, but the mall parking lot was packed (who woulda thunk for a Saturday night?). The nearest spot I could find was on the other side of the mall (and it's a big ass mall) so I just drove back home. I'll see it tomorrow during the day when no one else is there :P
