Avoid the Roads
Mar. 2nd, 2004 07:29 amI finally got my drivers permit yesterday :D bwahaha, drivers beware. Getting my license should be fairly easy. There are driving schools here that just take you driving a couple of times for a few hours, and as long as they feel you are ready to have a license, they give you a certificate you take to the MVD and you get your license, no other test or anything.
After that I'll need to look into getting a car. I really need to be driving by the end of the month for when Josh goes to Israel. I need to find out about insurance as well, not sure if I get that before I after I buy a car.
I'm still waiting on my computer case, I have all the other parts I need. It arrived in Phoenix last night, so hopefully it should be here some time today.
I still have RAM and a hard drive coming, but I can use the ones in my current computer until I get those.

Date: 2004-03-02 07:23 am (UTC)You have to get it concurrently. In fact, some car dealerships won't let you drive the car off the lot until you either show them some sort of form proving you have insurance (it may be a temp form if you just purchased the insurance) or buy their temporary insurance. Wackiness.
Congrats on the permit, btw. :)
