We got a letter from MCI today. We got long distance about a month ago (we had never had it here before), and they said they noticed some unusual activity on the phone. One of the things was the call to Scotland that Josh and I made to Luth. The other was 19 phone calls to Mexico, totally $45.

As I see I've never mentioned him, let me introduce the new roommate, Cesar. He moved it at the beginning of the month, he's a friend of Alex's. We're sorta not mentioning to the managers here that he's living here, he has a felony on his record. It's "Conspiricy." He's been calling his dad a lot, who lives in Mexico. I guess he didn't realize how much it would be.

Since Alex works for MCI, we get $25 off a month. Cesar said he'll pay whatever is left from the phone bill.

I work soon. Going pretty good. It's tiring and time consuming, but it's nice to finally have a real job.

Josh is looking at new apartments, we may move to a new one some time in January. It'd be cool to have my own room again finally :p

So, this job's permanent, right? you're gonna do it for some time? like maybe all of your life?

would they have taken you from just high school? or did they require some college?

Will probably have it for a while, yes. As for the rest of my life, I kinda doubt it. But it is the kind of company people spend most of their lives at.

No, they wouldn't have taken me right out of high school. Their requirements were either an Associates degree in electronics or a years experience working in this type of business. Compared to other semiconductor companies it's pretty small. The main reason I got the job there was because I know one of the supervisors (he told me about the job openings and set up the interview).
