Where's a sledgehammer when you need it?
Oct. 26th, 2003 12:56 amCynthia brought over a new computer for me today, P3 that her company was just getting rid of. I've got a P2. So we put my hard drive and my RAM into the new one and booted it up. The 256MB RAM (which only registers as 128 on my old computer) wasn't working. Took that out and it worked fine, so it was cruising on a total of 128MB.
I went to Fry's Electronic and got a 512MB RAM stick, put it in, and it still didn't work. So now I have 768MB of RAM that do me no good. I don't understand why it's not working. If it was an older motherboard I could understand, but it's fairly new. With only the 128 in there now, it seems like my old P2 was going faster.
On a little bit better note, I bought this.
I feel sad, and I'm not sure exactly why. Things are just frustrating me. I have too much to do and not enough time to do it in, and I'm not spending enough time with those closest to me.
