Front!

I'm back in the warmth of Phoenix. Washington was OK, nothing too exciting happened. I did have an allergic reaction to the beach where my hands swelled up and I also went shooting with a now paraylyzed old friend (only the second time I've ever shot guns, and it was with him that I did it the first time too :P). But other than that, it was pretty boring.

I began my job searching today. I spent the morning updating my resume and hunting around monster.com. In the afternoon I stopped by Maricopa Workforce Connections (thanks natatattat!). They were pretty helpful and had lots of job searching info. While I was there I got a call from one of the people I sent my resume to on monster.com, so I have an interview tomorrow for a network admin job at a medical imaging place. That would be a pretty good job, I'd be back working with computers which is what I want to do amd I've been wanting to get into medical technology for a while so this would help. We'll see how the pay/benefits are.

Otherwise, I have an appointment on Tuesday with a career counselor person and they'll try and point me in the right direction for a job. The place is pretty cool, they offer a bunch of free training classes and also give people the chance to take certain college programs for free.

Hung out with estherthegb tonight which was fun. I'm too lazy to unpack. Does anyone want to do it for me?
