Hooray for weekends!
Jun. 25th, 2005 08:38 pmI can now spend the next few days completely ignoring all the chores and errands I should be doing.
I now have a new laptop - OK, make that two new laptops. I got one from work and was playing around with it when I found out I couldn't install anything else on it, they have the thing pretty well locked down and I'd rather not mess with it as they're probably going to want it back. So I went onto NewEgg and found a pretty decent laptop that I'd be able to use while travelling. My Desktop was also being extremely frustrating with the constant rebooting, so being able to sit at a computer for a while and not worry about it suddenly shutting off was nice.
I think I'm going to try and go to ComicCon, not sure if it's going to work though. It's a Thursday through Sunday, and I work on that Thursday and Friday (though I'll be in Phoenix). So I'm thinking of either trying to get Friday off and drive down to San Diego Thursday evening or seeing if I can skip out early on Friday and just go for the weekend.
