At work I use a tool called a laminator. It basically presses a piece of plastic called GA down onto a wafer and then a blade comes down and cuts the GA in the shape of the wafer.
The blade was old, so I changed it. Easy enough. But then I also had to set the GA up. This can be tricky and annoying, you have to thread it through a bunch of gears and stuff. So, as I'm holding the GA, my hand went up and into the blade.
Ouch.
Blood starting coming out and soaking my glove. I went to one of the emergency guys and he wrapped my hand in cloths and tied it off with a garbage bag. They took me out of the clean room, took off my bunny suit and gloves and wrapped my hand in gauze. I got taken to the hospital. Doc looked at it but it was OK. Just a scratch. I didn't need any stitches which is a good thing. I went back to work after that.
My hand is still a little sore, but should be OK.
