So, I think I've screwed up at work ... 3 times =/ Boring stuff of what I did to follow
Basically, my job is to align wafers. Sounds exciting no? When I misalign a wafer, it means I've messed up. And apparently I did this three times. There are some positive points though. First off, there are "points of no return" where, if anything is wrong with the wafers after that, they can't be fixed. If they are caught before this, they can be "reworked" and fixed. Well, unfortunately, they weren't caught at the first "point of no return." (Two of the times they were supposed to be checked was by Josh). So the error I made on the wafers were unfixable. However, the misalign that I did wasn't too bad, and only led to a 2.5% "die loss." So, while 97.5% of the wafer is still good, it looks bad on me, because I didn't do my job right.
I don't know what will become of this. I might get what's called a "One Point Lesson" where I have to tell everyone else who aligns that I messed up and they have to sign a sheet of paper (Kinda like when you're a kid and you get a bad report card and you have to have your parents sign it). They could use it as an excuse to not hire me on. Ahh well, we'll see what happens.
So here's our plans for the next few days while we prepare for North Carolina, scheduling it around work.
THURSDAY
Call/goto apartment
Mail stuff
Laundry
Print out NC ticket
Pack for NC (either today or Friday)
FRIDAY
Prepare laptop (I'm gonna bring it so I can download my digicam pics onto it so I can take a lot)
Buy presents for Secret Santa
Watch Return of the King
So what am I forgetting?
