OK ...

That was NOT the sort of excitement I was hoping for ...

So Gunnar's car broke down. First he called Jenniifer to come help him. She didn't have the right tools, so she had Josh bring her the stuff she needed. I went with him.

She couldn't fix it (she is a licensed mechanic), so we had to push it out of the road somewhere for the night. Our first shot was to a parking lot to the right, but when we got to the entrance, it was gated closed. There was another parking lot, but it had all covered parking, which is usually reserved.

We pushed the car into there, then farther down to where the parking wasn't covered. Was very tired when we finally got the car into a space. Left a note on the window saying we'd be back in the morning, hoping it wouldn't get towed.

You know, I said I wanted some more excitement in my last LJ entry, but this isn't what I had in mind!

Some Noteworthy Events

Gunnar is driving Jenniifer absolutely nuts. She is very close to moving out and in with her step-dad. She is planning on leaving anyway in a few months to California. I talked with her this morning. She and Gunnar aren't sleeping in the same bed anymore, he sleeps on a mattress in the front room. She that he woke her up, rather abrupty, at 4AM this morning to find out if she was working. She was. He ended up getting in the bed with her and cuddling with her in a manner that wasn't exactly comfortable. She got out of the bed and laid on the couch.

After she had started to fall asleep again, he went into the kitchen, started opening and closing cupboards, banging pots around, and eat loudly. She went back into the bedroom. He followed and proceeded to make life hell for her. She went back out to the front room and was finally able to get some sleep before she had to be up for work at 7AM.

I really want to hurt Gunnar. He is being so mean to her. He's acting like a spoiled and selfish child, which he pretty much is.

Anyway, school was fine. I start work in half an hour. I had a talk with my boss a little bit ago.

The labs are going to be open Saturday, even though it's a 3 day weekend and there are no classes scheduled. Guess who gets to work? Ahh well, I need the money anyway. Also, starting the next Saturday, I have a class from 12 to 2. This cuts two hours out of my work. So, I mentioned since Brandon from the Help Desk is going to be graduating this semester, if I could start training for that, and next semester I could get into the Help Desk. I normally only work on Friday from 5 to 7, but the Help Desk is open until 10. So I can get a few hours in there training. Plus, Help Desk people make 75 cents an hour more than I do. Woohoo, raise!

Anyway, I've rambled enough. I work till 10 tonight. I need to make sure I study for a math test tomorrow.
