Grrr

So I'm working in the labs today. Helped some people with Viso woes, worked with a group member on my CIS-321 project, read some of Xenocide. It was around 5:30, half hour before we closed, so I got up and started shutting off monitors in the back labs. When I came back to the front lab, there was a security guard there, Al, telling everyone in the lab to leave right now.

WTF?? I'm supposed to be here till 6. Both my work schedule and the lab schedule says this. He wouldn't listen to any of it. He did the same thing last week, but when I told him I was closing at 6, he just left. Apparently he talked with his boss, the head maintenance guy, Tom Smith, and he had said no one was to be in the Uni after 5PM on Saturday.

He threatened to call the cops if we didn't leave. The labs were a bit of a mess, there were chairs that were pulled out and paper scattered here and there, I did the best job I could to make it looked organized so I wouldn't get in trouble on Monday for leaving the lab a mess.

I need to talk to my boss Monday morning, see what's going on. I'm wondering if I should go to Uni early on Monday morning or maybe just call him.

It's basically a 1.9GB graphic animation, complete with sound, that runs about 11 minutes, but the file has been compressed to 64kb. This means you could fit about 22 copies of it on a floppy disk.

It's absolutely incredible. I have no idea how this is even possible. It defies pretty much everything I've ever known about graphics. There's a few other animations on this page.
