Having on 8AM class one day a week for one hour, especially when I worked until 10PM last night, sucks.

Have been talking with my Dad's girlfriend Dyana on AIM this morning. I guess I can't complain too much about lack of sleep, she and my dad got back from Seattle after midnight and they were up at 5:15.

She's fun to talk to. Very humorous and takes nothing in life seriously, I like her. I showed her my comercial thingy:

Dyana: Matt, you need to get out of that room more often!!!

My dad and Diana have actually known each other for a really long time. She was married, and both her and her husband Bill were my dad's friends. Bill and Dyana ended up moving to Hawaii, stuff happened and they seperated. My dad went to Hawaii to be with his friends, and ended up coming home with Dyana. Hopefully it'll work out between them. I think they work well together, my dad is a fairly serious guy. While he's not big into anger, he's a serious neat-freak, which is the total opposite of Dyana.

I remember when I flew back to Washington last winter, Dyana was telling me how my oldest brother Robb was sleeping on the couch right outside hers and my dad's door. She could hear him being restless and getting up, so she made comments, while my dad slept, like "Would you like me to moan louder" !! Great fun!

Well, I'm about late for school, will have to ramble more about her later.

Read previous entry before this one

Dyana: Have you heard the news about your dad?
Yaksha42: No?
Dyana: His cancer is back--it's in the muscle of his jaw on the left hand side. For the last few months it has become prgressively more difficult for him to open his mouth, so I bugged him about going to the dr. They biopsied an area that looked suspicious on xray and the biopsies came back positive. He is maxed out on conventional radiation so they might try Gamma Knife Radiation. We should hear from the dr. today on what their plan of attack is going to be.

Internet Explorer freezes every time I click a link that opens a new window, and about 1 out of ever 10 times I press a normal link.

Mozilla now jumps my CPU to 100% the entire time it's running (I don't know if it was doing this before, but I just installed the flash applet for it)

/me kicks them

Maybe I should get Opera ...

Currently writing this entry from my laptop, which now has it's very own network card :)

I've installed Flash, mIRC, and Yahoo onto it. Probably won't put much more.

I'm debating whether or not to take it with me to work tonight. I have several Math assignments and a business chapter I still need to do. And I have to read a chapter in my Sociology book. It may be too much of a distraction ...

Also, need to find keys before I go to work.
