So I went with [livejournal.com profile] mi_wounded_soul to the Arizona Center. We were going to meet up with his friend and his friend's cousin, but they wouldn't be there for a while. So we bought our tickets to see X-Men 2 and wandered around a bit. We got bored and knew that later we'd be meeting them at Hooters later, so we just went in right then.

Spent a while drinking sodas and admiring the scenery. At about 8, Jeff and Mathew showed up (he even spells his name with 1 t like me). We got some food to eat, stared a bit more, then headed off to the theatre. We were there about an hour early, waiting in line. Probably a good idea, because about 20 minutes after we got in line, near the front, the line was pretty long, and it got longer as the time went on.

Saw some interesting trailers, then the movie started. Holy Crap! X2 Rules!! I was gnawing on my fingers for most of the time. Won't post any spoilers about it, other than I thought it was really well done and quite a bit better than the first one.

After the movie, we made plans to meet at Denny's by our place. Josh's friends Shawn and Kenny also joined us. We talked for quite a while. I wasn't very hungry after Hooters so I just got cheese sticks. We finally headed home 3AM. Rather long day, but it was still very fun. Wow, I'm getting outside a lot more ... this can't be healthy ...

Keyboard

My computer was going pretty slow, so I restarted it. When it got to the Windows login screen, the keyboard wouldn't work. At first I couldn't get the caps lock and num lock to come on. Then after a few minutes, the num lock would come on only if I held the button down.

I tried shutting down, unplugging the keyboard, plugging it back in and turning the computer back on, same problem.

Restarted again, this time it worked fine. Not sure what was up with it. Perhaps I abuse it too much.

In other news, Jordan couldn't find the CD ROM for the laptop he was going to let me borrow. [livejournal.com profile] mi_wounded_soul and I went to Fry's Electronic to look for laptop CD ROM's, but they're extremely expensive. $130. I looked on ebay, there are some for about $30 to $50 so I might buy one from there. Gonna call Jordan again tomorrow to see if he can try and find the CD ROM again.
