Computer Is Here

Got computer here. Plugged it in and azurelunatic came over. She met the roomates and helped me fiddle with the computer a bit. It's not bad. Plugged it into the router and got an IP (local), but couldn't get online. I don't think the router is connected fully to the internet.

We have the cable modem going into the roomies computer, then the ethernet on the roomies computer goes to the router, but I don't think this is actually giving the router I-net capabilities.

Oh well, will figure it out eventually :)

Went over to Azz's, mmmmmmmm.

Power Out

For some reason the power was out in my bedroom this morning. Roomate was late for work because the alarm clock didn't go off.

The switch for our room on the circuit breaker was open, I don't know if the new computer did this or not. I turned it off when I went to bed.

Router stuff

OK, the router is officially giving an internet connection to my roomtes computer. The only IP he has is from the ethernet card, the one he usually gets from the cable modem isn't there, because I plugged it directly into the router.

Hmm ... getting closer I think :)

Stuff

Got suit. Looks nice. Need to sew black slacks, hole isn't very big in it. I stapled it shut last time :-p

Need to get resume and stuff together for meeting tonight. Not sure if I'll need it but it'd be nice to have.
