I am currently living with [livejournal.com profile] imgodsfavorite. I moved in at the beginning of March. Her lease is up at the end of May and she had a friend offer her a guesthouse at her place, so she took that. I am now going to be moving in with [livejournal.com profile] protokol_4 into a new apartment.

I really haven't even started packing. I should do most of that today, then I work Sunday through Tuesday, finishing packing boxes on Wednesday and take everything over to the new place. I will hopefully be able to get her boyfriend to help me move some of the larger items (TV, bed, etc.) later.

Moving sucks :P Hopefully I won't have to do it again for a while.

While moving some of [livejournal.com profile] imgodsfavorite's stuff out today, her cat Bob got spooked and ran up the stucco wall on the patio and disappeared onto the roof. He's done this before and we're not really sure how we're going to get him down. Last time he ended up getting stuck into a drainage pipe and they had to push him down. We don't have a ladder big enough to get to the roof and the maintenance people here say they can't do it. She also called a few rescue centers and the fire department and they said they can't do it either.

What about a shop vac?

I'm NOT trying to be cruel, but maybe if he does get stuck it could motivate him out or grab his bootie and pull him out with little or no anguish? I have no idea - I've had hard enough times trying to get hamsters out of spaces under refrigerators and stoves in my life time. NOT FUN!

Well, he's not in the drainage pipe right now. He's wandering on the rooftop. He's probably too fat now to actually go down the drainage pipe, it's not very wide.

I guess someone needs to climb the roof with a sheet or blanket and snatch his butt?

Yeah. The problem comes with getting up there. It's a very tall building with steep roofs. Maintenance has told us they won't go up there and they won't provide us with a ladder to do so.

Joel and Jared got up on the roof today and bob wasn't there. he must have gotten himself down. I'll be posting signs tomorrow and I'll be scouring the complex after dark hoping that I'll find him.

I miss my baby boy :(
